School Profile

Clinton Elementary is located in the heart of the Cariboo.  It currently enrols 45 students from Kindergarten to Grade 5.  We are a small but very active school with a brand new computer lab, newly stocked library, gymnasium and new playground equipment.  Our staff is very enthusiastic and team oriented, which makes for great learning. We do a great deal of collaboration between the staff at Clinton Elementary School and David Stoddart Secondary, as well as integrated activities between the students.

Clinton Schools Parent Advisory Council

The Clinton Schools Parent Advisory Council is the collective voice of the parents at the school and district level regarding the educational, social and safety matters related to our children both at the elementary and high school level.

While trying to stay on top of the concerns of the parents, we also try to enrich our children’s school time, by providing the extra goodies the district does not supply.  Extras such as field trips, lounge pillows for our library, microscope camera and microwaves for our classrooms are bought through fundraising at our annual Craft Auction and Dinner in November.

CSPAC started our lunch program many years ago.  This is a hot lunch program that is intended to feed vulnerable or at risk students.  We have branched out this year to include the High School students so that we can provide a healthier choice than junk food for all students in Clinton.

The lunch program serves a wide variety of healthy items such as wraps, soups, spaghetti, sloppy Joes, juice or milk, veggies/fruit and dip, for $2.00 to $2.75 per lunch.  We also have a snack program at recess where we provide students with fruit on a daily basis.
